APMP: The APM Project Management Qualification is aimed at those wishing to achieve a broad level of project management knowledge sufficient to participate in projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects. Applicants typically have some pre-existing project management knowledge, although this is not essential.

The APMP syllabus assesses breadth of knowledge in all areas of project management and covers knowledge areas from the APM Body of Knowledge 6th edition.

APMP is the flagship qualification of the Association for Project Management. Tens of thousands of project managers have chosen to obtain the internationally recognised International Project Management Association Level D certification.

“APMP is the bedrock for a project manager’s progression. It’s a good and necessary first step,” says CH2M Hill business development director Alan Macklin CBE .

Hear in this APM video about the benefits from two holders of the qualification and two corporate representatives who have embedded it into their organisations.

"97% would recommend this qualification to anyone starting out in project management; according to feedback from a 2014 survey of all takers of the qualification."
