PPQ Re-Accreditation

Our PPQ online course is about giving applicants practice in developing the skills of demonstration, critical analysis and evaluation. Delegates need to have PMQ material at their finger-tips. We update them on the changes to the PMQ syllabus from BoK6 to 7 and talk about ethics and professionalism.

Then it is all about using the sample case study with the illustrative types of assessment - scenario role play, oral exam and written report - all carried out online in small discussion groups.

This approach has proved very successful with high pass rates and a top mark of 89%. APM have just reaccredited the MSC for the next four years to offer PPQ.

PMQ Exam preparation

The MSC hopes that its candidates will always try to work out answers to the exam questions rather than dredge their memories for the words in the Study Guide.   As we say, every project is different and presents new challenges; we as project managers have to work out the solutions using a logical approach. Our approach to PMQ is informed by this aim.

'Understanding' is what the examiners seek in the exam answers and involves the links between the topics.  Therefore, the exam Workshop and exam can be taken any time after the course, giving time to absorb what has been learnt.

Note that APM have now added 15 minutes for reading to the PMQ exam duration making three hours fifteen minutes in total.

Congratulations to our delegate achieving 89% on PPQ

12 Sep 2021

A superb performance, achieving 80 marks out of 90 or 89%, by one of our delegates has just been reported.

So far, we have a 75% pass rate with an average mark of 67%.

NEW - Accreditation for PFQ and PMQ renewed by APM

04 Feb 2021

APM has awarded the Management Skills Centre accreditation to present PFQ and PMQ training courses until 31 December 2025.

Accreditation for PPQ was awarded separately last year.

What is the MSC planning for 2021?

20 Dec 2020

In the last seven months of 2020, the MSC has:

  • converted all courses from classroom to online;
  • gained accreditation from APM to present PPQ training;
  • presented 21 online courses for PFQ, PMQ and PPQ;
  • initiated a discount scheme for those not working as a result of COVID.

We thank all those who have chosen to take our courses this year and look forward to 2021.
